Q
What is the setting order of foam system (Fire-K)?
A
1) After foam discharge, switch the 3-way valve to flushing mode.
(Flush for at least 1–2 minutes until no foam comes out of the discharge port for cleaning.)

2) After flushing is complete, close the inlet gate valve.

3) Close the foam solution outlet valve.

4) Open all drain valves inside the equipment, discharge any remaining firefighting water, and then close them.

5) Attach a handle to the ratchet shaft of the transformer and turn it 2–3 times to complete the draining.
Q
Are there any precautions in the auto-recovery user manual?
A
1) If the setting is not done after opening the F.W primary valve, close it again and open it again to enable automatic setting.
2) To prevent freezing, be sure to perform E/T insulation work on the body and tube pipe (do not insulate the body when insulating steam)
3) For smooth valve operation, be sure to flush the pipe before installing.
Q
What is the operating sequence of the Deluge valve?
A
1. Automatic: When power is supplied to the solenoid valve (8) (receiver panel/site), the valve opens (always requires power supply)
2. Manual: When the manual operation valve (9) is opened, the deluge valve is manually opened
3. Recovery: When power is cut off or the manual valve is locked, the deluge valve is automatically set (up to 40 seconds for 8 inches)
